We're Caroline and Romain, a couple with a passion for business.

Polynesia has always held a special place in our hearts. Romain grew up listening to the stories of his family, who lived in the islands for many years. These stories, full of perfume, music and light, have lulled our imaginations.

It was only natural that we chose this corner of paradise for our honeymoon. From the Marquesas to Moorea, from Bora Bora to Tahiti, we lived a suspended moment, a waking dream. And it was there, at the turn of a market, a sunset, an exchange with a local craftsman, that the idea for Miss Monoi was born: a site that would bring a little Polynesia to life all year round, in our homes as well as yours.

Monoi was an obvious choice: it concentrates the warmth of the sun, the strength of tradition and the gentle way of life of the islands. That would be our starting point.

We were already familiar with the world of e-commerce, having worked on several sites. But there was something more personal and emotional about this project. And it was without pretension, almost for fun, that we launched Miss Monoi.

Then, much to our surprise, the magic happened. Success came faster and stronger than expected, driven by loyal customers who appreciated the authenticity of our approach. We grew with them, with you.

A few years later, we were offered a new opportunity: to return to Polynesia, this time hosted by an aunt still living there. This trip enabled us to strengthen our ties with producers, discover new brands and build a solid, human network with local artisans.

Today, Miss Monoi has grown considerably. What started out as a small monoi website has become a fully-fledged brand, offering cosmetics, accessories and handicrafts, all in the spirit of Fenua.

Our team has grown, with collaborators who share our values: respect for others, love of a job well done, and a sincere attention to nature and what it has to offer. Each member is essential to this adventure. Together, we form a close-knit team, driven by a shared passion.

We continue to return to Polynesia on a regular basis: to recharge our batteries, to explore, to exchange ideas, but also to ensure that every product we offer remains true to the spirit of the islands.
