Full description for Polynesian Square Tablecloth Set (4 Pieces)

Bring a touch of Polynesia to your table with this 142 x 142 cm square tablecloth, decorated with four powerful symbols: the turtle representing the sea, the Marquesan cross representing Mana, the frigatebird representing the air, and the Ipu representing fertility. A design rich in Polynesian symbols, both graphic and original.

This square Polynesian tablecloth, measuring 1 meter 42 by 1 meter 42 centimeters, stands out for its design: a Marquesan cross in the center and a border composed of four elements, each represented by a symbol from Polynesian culture, along the edges.

The sea is represented by the turtle, an iconic animal of the Pacific and a motif that features prominently in Polynesian art.

Mana is symbolized by the Marquesan cross. This graphic motif evokes the strength and energy associated with Mana in Polynesian culture.

Air is represented by the frigatebird, a seabird characteristic of the Pacific Islands, capable of traveling great distances over the ocean.

Fertility is represented by the Ipu. This symbol evokes a container, much like the Umete, traditionally used to hold fruits and food, among other things. It also has a more symbolic dimension: it refers to the organization of the universe, the power of origins, and the act that gives rise to birth.

Brought together on this tablecloth, these four motifs—representing the four fundamental elements—form a harmonious design that adorns a table while highlighting Polynesian symbols.

At its center, the Marquesan cross brings balance to the entire tablecloth.

Its square size of 142 x 142 cm is particularly well-suited for square tables or small round tables. It can be used for everyday dining or to set a table with a Tahitian, Marquesan, or French Polynesian theme.
