Full description for Tama'a Maitai Apron

With the Tama'a Maitai apron, cook in a distinctly Polynesian atmosphere. Its design, inspired by Tahiti and the Marquesas, combines traditional symbols with everyday practicality.

This black Tama'a Maitai Polynesian apron combines practicality with patterns inspired by Polynesian culture.

Thanks to its classic cut and tie-back design, it adapts to different body types and is perfect for both everyday cooking and preparing meals with family or friends.

In the center of the apron, the inscription “Tama’a Maitai” evokes the pleasure of good food and can be understood as a Polynesian way of saying “enjoy your meal ” or referring to a delicious meal.

It is accompanied by a graphic design featuring, among other elements, the Marquesan cross, an iconic motif of traditional Marquesas Islands art.

An Ipu motif also appears on the side of the apron. In Polynesian symbolism, the Ipu represents a container, much like the Umete, a traditional vessel used to hold fruits or food.

Its meaning, however, goes deeper: it is also associated with fertility, the organization of the universe, the power of origins, and the act that gives rise to birth.

The apron also features two front pockets, allowing you to keep a dish towel, small utensils, a phone, or any other useful accessories within easy reach while preparing meals.
